Opened in 1965, shares Greenfield site with two neighbouring schools. New computer suite in 2001; extension to staffroom and office completed April 2002; significant increase in sporting provision in 2004; specialist PE teaching and coaching in cricket, football and gymnastics through links with local PE College. Wide range of after-school activities, including choir, recorder, football, netball, gymnastics, French, drama and a popular birdwatching club. Pupils regularly reach county and city representative standard in football, cricket and rugby; several pupils have attended football centres of excellence at Leeds and Bradford football clubs. Termly charity appeals raise £2,000; parent-teacher association raises £5,000 a year and supports many school projects. Close links with Benton Park School; exchange of ICT staff and equipment.
