Background:
Woodhouse Primary School is a single story brick built school catering for pupils' from four to 11 Years of age, situated in a leafy suburb of Brighouse. The school opened in the November of 1967 by Councillor Mrs M R Mitchell and consists of 14 classrooms, a school hall, swimming pool and separate play areas for Infants and Juniors. New building enabled us to demolish outside wooden classrooms and use the space to extend our Infant play area. Smaller building projects include an extension to the teacher's resource area and the creation of a cloakroom on an existing classroom. These facilities include an ICT learning centre, library, study centre, shower facilities and serving kitchen.
