Background:
The school is set in its own grounds, with gardens, playing fields and hard surface play areas. It takes pride in providing a homely atmosphere with carpeted classrooms and high quality displays. Music is considered to be an important part of the curriculum. Wherever possible religious education is incorporated into topic work. Football and netball clubs are run every week. Interschool football and netball matches are held regularly. The school occasionally runs Safety and Cycling Proficiency courses. The school aims: 'To create a warm, caring and welcoming environment where each individual feels a valued part of a community which genuinely cares for, and respects its members'.
