Background:
Tranmere Park Primary is situated on the northwest edge of Leeds, near to the Bradford boundary. The school was built in 1971 and has 11 classrooms, all well equipped with computers interactive whiteboards. In addition the school has 16 personal computers, ICT suite, music room and two libraries. The school is set in attractive grounds away from busy traffic. Two adventure playgrounds are available for the children at break-time. The school prides itself in offering an exciting curriculum enriched by first hand experience. The school also offers a wide range of extra-curricular activities in sports and arts. Although enjoying strong academic record, the school prides itself on being inclusive and catering well for all children with a range of needs and abilities. The school has a strong and positive ethos where enthusiasm is valued.
