Guiseley school was established in 1963 and now enjoys third phase Technology College status, serving the north west of Leeds. The school's commitment is to provide a broad and balanced curriculum to help its students to prepare for the responsibilities and challenges of life. This school is an inclusive school offering high quality teaching to all age groups and work successfully with all students across the full ability range. The school is working to achieve this through high staff commitment, the development of new technologies and promotion of different pathways that effectively meet the needs of students. Opportunities for personal development are provided through a range of extra-curricular activities. The school is involved with the local community. As a Technology College it supports local schools in a number of different ways. The school'supports many charity events through fund-raising via non-uniform days, collections and other activities. The school'site is used as a community resource for further education, music centre, sports activities and local Church meetings.
