Background:
Horsforth St Margaret's is a controlled Church school. It has been part of the Horsforth Community for over 200 years and has strong links with both St Margaret's and St James's Church. A brand new purpose-built school is at the present moment being built on the Town Street site. The new school will consist of 14 classrooms and a nursery. Wide range of extra-curricular activities are offered at lunchtime and after-school. These activities include football, cross-country, dance, netball, drama, fitness, cricket, athletics, art, sewing, orchestra, choir and recorders. The school endeavours to provide a high quality learning environment where children feel happy, secure and motivated to hard work.
