Background:
Collingham Lady Elizabeth Hastings' Church of England Primary School was built in 1967,is situated at the junction of Harewood Road and Linton road, close to the centre of the village of Collingham. The school has superb facilities with seven classrooms, ICT suite and research area, hall/gymnasium, library, separate infant and junior playgrounds and extensive playing fields. There is a large field at the back of the building and two quadrangles, which have been recently renovated. Children have the opportunity to take part in a range of extra-curricular activities, such as choir, games, football, cross-country, dance, gymnastics, netball, cricket and Christian crew. The school'seeks to be a secure and welcoming community of children and adults where each person is valued.
