Background:
St Peter's is a voluntary aided co-educational day junior, infant and nursery school catering for children in the age range of three to 11 years. The school was opened on its present site in 1969 and it is set in delightful landscaped grounds complete with ample sized playground and playing fields. The school has eight permanent classrooms, a large hall, dining room, library and staff room. The school offers various extra-curricular activities including recorder, dance, choir, gardening club, cricket, football, netball and rounders clubs. The school has achieved Healthy School Standard Award, Investor in People status and an Activemark award by Sport England. The school aims to create an atmosphere and an ethos, which reflects mutual care and concern and a clear expression of Christian values.
