Background:
Founded in 1875, now accommodated in a new building on a single site that opened in 1998; There are a range of after-school clubs: sports, music, homework, and many more. There is an active Parent-Teacher Association; also parental partnership scheme. 'All the staff are dedicated professionals who work very hard to achieve high standards of work and behaviour.' We are an inclusive school promoting equal opportunities for all pupils. We help children develop personal and moral values, respect for and tolerance of other cultures, races, religions and ways of life and promote understanding of their role within the immediate and wider community and society as a whole.
