Background:
Opened in 1989, St Paulinus School is situated in the market town of Guisborough, close to the coast and the North Yorkshire Moors. The school has well-maintained, attractive' grounds containing the school's own pond, constructed by local businesses, parents and staff. Traditionally strong in the perfomining arts: all Key Stage 2 children take part in an annual musical performance. After school clubs include football, netball, hockey, country dancing, computers, science and crafts; recent success in local football and swimming competitions. The school has an author-in-residence and has in the past also had an artist; supports numerous charities including CAFOD, the Poppy Appeal and Catholic Care.
