Background:
Field Lane Primary School is a primary and nursery school for boys and girls. The age range of the pupils is three to 11. Field Lane Primary School was built in the 1950's and has recently undergone a major refurbishment programme, including a purpose built 15-computer ICT suite, a library, carpeting and redecoration throughout the school and improvements to the school grounds. Gymnastics, games, dance and athletic activities are provided in all classes during the year through class lessons. Swimming lessons are provided at Elland swimming baths. Pupils are awarded certificates for skill and performance achievements. The school aims to enable every child to reach his or her potential in a caring and supportive environment.
